Akshay Mittal
Akshay Mittal graduated from IIT Delhi and joined Strategic Decisions Group, a strategy consulting firm with expertise in decision-making, risk management, and value creation; founded by Prof Carl Spetzler, Stanford Graduate School of Business. At SDG, he consulted the senior executives across different industries, including infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, power, etc.
Akshay did his MBA from the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, and graduated as a Shermet Scholar and in the top 5% of his class. During the summer, Akshay worked with BCG on a strategy project for one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. He also got the chance to work with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to formalize a strategy to eradicate Malaria and dengue.
Post his MBA, to pursue his entrepreneurial vision, he moved back to India and founded a fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain, inspired by his favorite food joint, Chipotle, in the US. Akshay is now expanding his family business presence in basmati rice.
Akshay is based out of Mumbai and an active angel investor. He has made more than a dozen investments in e-commerce, internet/mobile, food tech, B2B Saas, consumer goods and biotech space.

Apart from SE Finance, Kshitiz Mittal is also the director of SNPL (Sagar Nutriments Private Limited) which is a part of the Sagar Group of industries - a mega conglomerate of Central India that caters to three of the most important verticals i.e Infrastructure, Education & Industry.
